Most of the kids there are rarely tasting education in the school, and Thanks to the HOPE volunteer in Jakarta working with local mothers to set up mini school for kids to learn things that are teach in school and also learn other area to develop their own set skills.

Mandiri Bank Museum

Mandiri Bank Museum, where it known as “Nederlandsche Handel-Maatschappij” during Batavia period, is one of important historical place in Jakarta where it preserve Netherlands structure and culture in the area. This building is the first bank in Indonesia founded by Netherlands government used to be a trading company and then it moves their business into banking industry.

My first day in Jakarta, is going to this building where I having International Fellowship Dinner, watching performance and also riding bicycle go around the area. Such an unique experience for me and It is my first time after many times visit Jakarta.

I have chance to drink Luwak coffee, The most expensive coffee in the world!!!!!! It cost me US$8 for a cup of coffee, which almost cost triple from normal coffee and double from Starbucks (Anyway Starbucks coffee is overprice according to me).

I spot this place, thanks to Joyce as she looks around and then see the place where they sell Luwak coffee. They package really nice tom show how expensive it is, and they serve in beautiful glass with precise amount of hot water and also precise temperature. The aroma is really unique, and the taste is really different from any coffee that I had before. I can say it is worth of money to try, but I could not afford to drink everyday, sniiff…

You know that the interesting fact, this coffee is totally same bean with my father usually drink, except this luwak coffee bean has been eaten by luwak (Paradoxurus hermaphroditus) and then it comes out with their pulp. YES!!! I am drinking pulp from animal!!!!!
