When I was back to visit my family in Palembang during my Chinese New Year, I have chances to see my 90 YEARS OLD grandpa from my mother side. I miss his 90 birthday party due Airasia only open three counter for check in for all destination to Indonesia and thanks to that I miss the flight.

I still remember when I was small, I really close with my grandpa as he always there for me whenever I need someone to be my side and he is quite generous to give me pocket money as when I was small I rarely see my parent quite often.

This is my older’s brother third son, his name is Albert. He is just three months old and he is really cute. When I am going back to Palembang, I always look for him almost everyday to play with him for a while. One thing that I really looking forward to see him SMILE!!! I only saw him smile two times and it is hard to make him smile especially when I am holding my camera. Keep tickle him, play with him, and have tried many ways but still could not catch him really smile, but I am quite satisfied with picture above.

Memorable Alley

I grew up in this alley, from baby till form 5. I have chances to visit this place when I was went back to Palembang for Chinese New Year. It is really bring back a lot of memories, bad and also good one. One thing that I am still could not believe is the time is really fly really fast.

This place where I learn running around with my naked feet, sharing room with my older sister, and also my childhood friend are mostly my neighbors. We done a lot of funny things, like playing high and seek in fourth floor, where all house is connected so it is easy to go to another house, and we also playing shooting gun with plastic ball as our bullet.

Ampera Bridge

This is Ampera bridge, it is design by Indonesia’s first president, Ir. Soekarno and it become Palembang landmark. This bridge is on the top of Musi river, a river that divide Palembang into two, and it is a busiest bridge in Palembang. Visit palembang 2008 logo also use this bridge as a background in its logo.

Musi river is the main river that has been souce of living for many people in Palembang and because of that Palembang is known for Asia’s Venice.
